FIRE and ICE

The second series of Climate Change Part 1 with aerial view of the North Pole and Greenland. Plus a bonus of beautiful Aurora Borealis display and beautiful scenery. Enjoy.

To the men and women who venture onto the North Pole and Antarctica facing all elements regardless mother nature might present. Observe the condition of our sea ice and the health of our planet as well as catching the beauty of our Aurora Borealis.

ICEBRIDGE/NASA The DC8 Plane knows as the Main Work Horse observes both our poles North and South. There are in total six planes that fly three over the Arctic and three over the Antarctic, including the newly launched satellite NPP as well as the many existing other satellites making observation and taking data over the pole.

But it is also the men and women, the scientists who venture to the North Pole as well as the South Pole and get the data through observation and taking ice core samples to bring back to me and you so we know and understand the health of our planet.

Our planet is running a fever and our animals as well humans across the world are suffering. Burning fossil fuel is the cause for sea ice melting, extreme weather and global warming.

It is our obligation to bring our planet back to health and save our animals from possible extinction.

Although the sun is now coming into its maximum phase the sun does not cause extreme weather or exponential warming of our earth. The sun was in solar minimum when we had heat-waves and deaths by the several tenths of thousands over the world.

We will however have more CMEs (coronal mass ejections) and the potential frying of power grids, cell phones and technical equipments. Planes will be warned by NOAA to avoid the solar flares heading our way as well as the astronauts on the ISS.
